The two-bedroom apartment was spacious and had a comfortable bed. It was nice to have a mini wardrobe and tea and coffee supplies. I really appreciated the area being quiet, which made it easier to relax after a day of exploring the nearby attractions like the Apollo Bay Museum and the Great Ocean Walk. I did notice the cleanliness could be improved, especially with the couches needing a good scrub.

The facilities were way above the price we paid. Very affordable and very comfortable. I have stayed at 5 star hotels in major cities and by far our room was a lot bigger and comfortable then those previously mentioned. I would recommend the Sandpiper Motel to anyone.

A lovely retreat near the beach
The location was a highlight, just a quick stroll to the fine beach. The gardens surrounding the motel added a charming touch, and the free laundry facilities. The friendly staff provided valuable recommendations and helped upgrade our room.

Good freee laundry. Good position and proximity to eateries. Neat and tidy.
Very noisy rooms when people moved in overhead but we asked for a move and were accomodated graciously. There were no cooking facilities which we found very unusual for a motel.

I had a really really nice experience here, everything was terrific, the location was marvellous next to shops in town centre, the shopping strip, and Close to shops. All the employees were super-friendly and very pleasant. The room was good-sized and newly renovated with balcony when upgraded. The facilities were clean. That was what I call nice comfy base for a short stay.

Charming Oasis with Great Amenities!
The bright, spacious Garden King Room offered a relaxing retreat. We enjoyed the lovely outdoor seating area surrounded by lavender. Michelle, the manager, was helpful. Future guests should explore the nearby beach for fine sunsets and local bakeries for delicious pastries.

Comfort room with usual amenities, walk for about 3 mins to the main street for meal (easy to access). We stayed there a night and continued our trip to the Great Ocean Road in another day.

The spacious rooms were clean and featured comfortable beds, perfect for a short stay. Self check-in was hassle-free, and clear instructions made the process seamless. Just a minute's walk to the beach allows for easy access to fine sea views, though it was a bit far from the main shopping area. Nearby dining options like the Apollo Bay Bakery offered delicious local pastries that added to the experience.

Proximity to beach and shops. Good selection of shops for clothes, souvenirs and restaurants all close by. Staff very helpful. Breakfast available at very reasonable cost, in our room. Had sea view - the icing on the cake Lovely room, comfortable bed. Only stayed one night but would be good for longer. Good for stop on the Great Ocean Road.
Everything was fine.
